Fishing and recreation at Lake Pareloup
The Pareloup Lake offers around 1200 hectares of fresh water in a stellar shape bowl with well-cut edges. The lake’s meandering shape makes it especially suitable for aquatic and nautical activities. On the heights of the lake facing the campsite, 1000 m as the crow flies and eight kilometers along the banks, the Puech Montgrand offers a panoramic view of the great Pareloup Lake. The Notre-Dame-des-Lacs Virgin Mary dominates the landscape.
The Pareloup Lake is very popular for fishing. Its mid-altitude waters, fed by streams, are particularly full of fish. You can fish from the banks, as well as launch any type of boat from them. As a 2nd category lake, Pareloup solely welcomes fishers licensed to catch.
Popular among tourists, the Pareloup Lake also offers a large range of aquatic and nautical activities. An ideal destination for families.
