Camping Les Genêts in Aveyron is an ideal destination for families: children and teenagers will find numerous activities specially designed for them.
The lake and its sandy beach are, of course, at the top of the list of attractions for youngsters. The gently sloping entry into the water is reassuring for the little ones. Floating inflatables, often used by older children, enhance the swimming area.
The heated swimming pool is also a popular meeting place for children. On the mainland, we provide kids with exceptional leisure facilities: a large playground with multiple slides and bouncy castles awaits them.
Every day in season, the kids’ club offers a variety of activities and games for children aged 4 to 12, including treasure hunts, Olympiads, arts and crafts and even a mini-disco at aperitif time!
Sports activities and structures for the whole family
To ensure you enjoy a dynamic and revitalizing vacation, we have equipped ourselves with top-quality sports facilities. The multi-sports pitch is ideal for basketball, handball, soccer and volleyball matches and training sessions.
Outdoor fitness equipment also awaits you on our site, allowing you to work out at your own pace.
Our team also offers a variety of supervised sports sessions:
- aqua-gym,
- muscle strengthening,
- sit-ups,
- or friendly tournaments with other campers on the multisport field.
There’s also a bowling green and a mini-golf course. Every week in July and August we organize nightly pétanque competitions. Of course, the swimming pool and lake are free for you to enjoy.
The lake is also an ideal location for stand-up paddling, canoeing and pedal-boating on the water, and hiking along the banks. For your children’s safety, we’ve set up a designated area on our beach – the swimming area.
Nearby, a pontoon often welcomes young anglers, and a lakeside playground with inflatables is a delight for youngsters.
A number of water sports activities are available from the Plage des Genêts, so there’s also a designated area for launching your boats.
With the whole family, there’s nothing like a pedal-boat ride with integrated slide for fun and relaxation!
And if you stay in a lakeside Comfort location, you’ll have the sandy beach literally at your feet.
A paradise of nature and daily recreation! You can go canoeing or any other nautical activity, but for more current you’ll have to head further south towards the Tarn!
Evenings at Les Genêts campsite
In a friendly atmosphere, the children enjoy their disco moment on the restaurant terrace in the early evening.
In the bar, some evenings feature live music, while others are devoted to games or karaoke. The beach can also be the venue for certain events.
By varying venues and themes, we guarantee that everyone will be able to enjoy the evening of their choice.
