Velorail
Want to explore Aveyron by bike and train? Opt for the velorail! This original concept lets you and your family pedal along a railroad line that crosses magnificent landscapes, viaducts, bridges and tunnels.
Under Millau, less than 60 km from Les Genêts campsite, the Vélorail du Larzac is an original family activity that lets you discover exceptional landscapes through an unusual journey and a fun mode of locomotion. Highly entertaining, the velorail is suitable for everyone: adults and children alike. Very accessible, the ride doesn’t require a great deal of pedaling effort, and several routes are available.
Circuit des Explorateurs
From Sainte-Eulalie, take the 8 km tourist train to La Bastide-Pradines. You’ll finish your journey by velorail (2.3 km) to the terminus. You’ll pass through a superb tunnel, equipped with helmet and headlamp, to explore an architectural gem.

Orchid trail
You’ll hop on your velorail in Sainte-Eulalie and pedal 8 km to La Bastide-Pradines. You’ll pass through 4 tunnels and 3 viaducts, enjoying stunning views of the Cernon Gorge and surrounding villages. Return by tourist train (total duration: 2h30).

Butterfly trail
The outward and return legs of this tour are by velorail (8 km round trip). You’ll make the greatest effort on the outward journey, and enjoy the descent on the return journey to admire the Larzac landscape.
